05-08 1600 Nomad Tour Pak / Rack

I have decided to sell my Tour Pack and Rack. Guess I'm just not the trunk type. Anyway this is an HD Tour Pak clone and the rack is one I machined from aluminum. (extremely light) Tour pack comes complete with the top rack and the mounting bolts and aluminum plate I added in the bottom for extra strength. Also has an led light bar on the back that is easily hooked up to the rear taillight harness under the seat. Rack has two grab handles that can be used or removed (your choice) and has slots to adjust the truck forward or backward to fit your passenger. I'd like $650 for the complete package. This is truly a bolt up and go unit. Send me a PM and I'll get you a shipping Quote. Hurry before I change my mind.

Folks, I've seen this setup in person and it is very nice. Dave does first-rate work! This is a really good deal.

I want this setup bad

I am just not sure I can swing right this minute. I am trying to sell my Sporty to finance upgrades to Athena (Trunk, Reckless Fairing, and hard lowers).

I think I remember reading about the installation of this particular trunk as well.

Just wanted to add: The rack is one of a kind. Nobody will have one exactly like it. Also the tour pak latches are genuine HD. The ones that came on the trunk were kind of cheap.

I think that is a very fair price, I would not let it go for much less.

Thanks, But I'm not selling the bike, just the trunk. My GF likes the reg backrest with my Nelson Rigg T-Bag better. Bike looks even better this year with the new mods. Just wait and see.

Dave, good luck with the sale. For what it's worth, guys, the rack is nearly $300. alone. All painted and wired up, that's a pretty good deal.

Anyway, I have an original tour pack on the wompus, and am very happy with the set up, but Dave, where did you get those grab bars-? That is exactly what I want to finish my set up. Kelli loves the trunk over the original rest, but she misses her rails. Thanks for any info you have.

The grab handles are from an 80's voyager. You can find them on Ebay. When I made the side brackets for the rack I purposely incorporated mounting holes for them. Not sure they will work on a wompus rack.
