LOL, must be my simple minded nature. I'm actually still pondering ways to make this thing easier and simpler. That is part of the reason why they are still only 70bux.

I need feedback. ;)
Yeah, like all future sets will have an incuded coat hanger and bright orange still installed tag on a bungee.

Glad you like it 2bez. I made the thing and went through three itterations before I offered it on here. Even so, I'm thinking that there is still room for improvement. It will come to me.

Maybe. I actually sent out a couple of these things with double headed nails as the pins and they were tied together with heavy cotton string and a cheesy piece of red caution tape tied in the middle. I gave up on that idea but may resurect it after my experience last week.

Very nice ! I like it. I may get one as well as I would rather buy from a Kawanow member than others.
Keep the ideas coming everyone!

Idaho's Jack Adapter Review w/pics

I wanted to say that I received my jack-adapter a couple of weeks ago. I removed my fairing and side covers to have them repainted , and while I'm waiting on them, I decided to do a little maintance (steering stem) and cleaning of the parts that are hidden by the fairing ;). I have had the bike up on the adapter for 4 days now,(still waiting on the fairing) and there is no bow or flex in the adapter. I really like it. You can position the jack under the adapter to raise just the front, or back, or lift straight up and level, works great. The only improvement I see it may need is on the cross bar, where it contacts the frame, I put some tough, thin rubber pads to keep from scratching the frame. ;)

Well I'm cleaning my bike and it's up on the Idaho Adaptor. It seems much more stable than without the adaptor. Positioning the jack was much easier too. I think I'm gonna like this a lot.

Your Welcome Bud, and it is a very practical, simple to use design.

I thought that I would bump this back to the top. Quite a few of you have these now and are happy with them. They fit the 1500 and the 1500 frame and work on the Classic as well.

Thanks, Idaho

I got a "Remove before Flight" ribbon and a stretch cord deal to attach to the adapter so I don't leave it on again...for the third time, lol.

I gotta say that I did not use the coathanger. I stuck the nails in and just lifted the adapter with the toe of my boot as I slid the jack under.

Of course it then becomes completely invisible once you let it all back down, and so I got on the bike before I remembered to take it off. As I was backing the bike up I heard this *clang* and finally realized it was still under there, before I made it all the way out of the garage.

CQ, you need a pretty pink ribbon for the handlebars to remind you to remove that thing.
