The temps are considerably higher than normal on this side of the country and my beer intake has increased accordingly.

My merchant marine life gave me a constant 145 lbs. When I first met my mother-in-law, she was worried of my weight.

But those days were great, I could drink and eat as much as I wanted to and maintain 145 lbs or size 28 Levi's.

Thanks for the inspiration !!
Rick, you've been so quite, have you moved to your new place, yet?

And congrats on the 30 lbs, it feels great, doesn't it?

Cheers,

E.

I'm drinking a Dos Equis right now. It's so bloody hot in Vancouver, B.C. you would not believe it.

Hi E.....I'm here on the 108 right now and will be till next Tues. when I am finished my vac. for this year. Until Christmas anyway. I'll be back and forth between Langley and the 108 on long weekends etc..
I have a while yet before retirement probably. Another yr. and a bit. Then we'll sell the townhouse and move the rest of the stuff up here. I just love it here asnd it's going to hurt to pack it up to go back to Van..
I've struggled a bit over this summer loosing weight. The beer is cold and like you said the weather is hot!! It's been over 100F some days here.
Lets see if we can get together for a ride before the summer is finished. Oh wait.....did you say you were done for the summer???

My wife and I are still enjoying the Summer. I think my insurance is good till the end of November but hers is ending mid October, I think.

Our Summer has been very good (touring New Mexico and day trips, etc. whenever we get a chance) but the workload is picking up and will increase even more starting in September.

But no, I'm not done for the Summer.
