Welcome from Alabama, The Heart of Dixie. Sharp bike. I see you have ridden in Utah, Colorado and Montana and was wondering if you jumped over Wyoming or Idaho to get to Montana. Just a little humor for today. Welcome to a great forum.

LOL ... good question. Once in a while, someone does ask how I was able to add Montana without connecting states in between. It's a simple answer really. When I was active duty, the military moved my household goods from Georgia to Montana via a moving truck. My household goods included my motorcycle. Once in Montana, I rode around the state but when it came to leave Montana for good, I sold my bike, and bought my next one (the current Nomad ride) after I moved to Florida. So, since I never left the state of Montana on a motorcycle, I do not include any surrounding states.

I just crossed over 89,236 miles on the odometer and this Nomad is still running great. I may have to replace the clutch washers again soon, but otherwise she's a great machine.

A late but sincere welcome, from Langley, BC Canada. Your bike is unique to say the least.
Very cool.

JoBear,

I chatted with you on the phone about a month ago about putting the steel indian fender on the front of my Nomad. It's still in the plans for this winter.....
