North Florida RTE Nov. 7

We will be having a RTE (Ride to Eat) on November 7 to Crescent City, FL at Three Bananas http://www.3bananas.com/ . We are planning to meet at 3B's at high noon. I want to thank Mike for making all the arrangements for this ride.

There is a group heading up by Trosco (Ross) heading south from Jax, and MikeInFLA is heading up a group from the southwest area.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Saturday.

Good turn out for today's RTE. I didn't get an official count because I was late getting there but it was over 10 and less than 16...so we will say 13, lol. Good to see some of my riding partners and meet some new members. Great food and great conversation.

Got in about 200+ miles today so it was all good.

George And Lisa from Ferdanina; Me from Jax; Jerry from Middleburg; Scott, Hope, Mike and Susan from ST Aug; Eric from Palm Valley; Kathryn from Daytona; Jeff from Dunnelon; and Ron from Crystal River. (I didn't know if we should count the Wylie Cyotee lady, or not???
I count 15 people, Susan and Kathy rode their own bikes while Hope and Lisa were passengers so that's 13 bikes.
Thanks everybody, I had a good time putting faces with names and a great ride!

Completely agree, Great Ride, Great Company, Great Weather. Little over 300 miles today. Hope everyone has a safe trip home!

Scott and Hope (aka Scope & Hot) took some also and promised to share.
We got separated from them on way home so hope they made it ok? In case any of you are in the area, one of our meet up points was at their caffe (Sea Oats Caffe) in St Aug. I only tried the banana bread and coffee and it was very good plus it looked like everyone there was enjoying their food. Check the place out sometime!
Till the next time we get to ride together, keep the shiny side up and remember our vet's next week!

Glad to hear that the meetup was a success. I really wish I could have made it. I got to work at 7am and worked until about 10:30pm that night. I continued working this morning and finished about 3:30pm.

On the brightside, I rode the bike to work. 160 miles round trip.

I'm planning ahead for Dec 12th.

Being the new kid on the block, I didn't know everyone but had a nice time and those that I did meet made me feel part of the group. It was good to meet people that like to have a good time and do the ride and that is what it should be all about. Hope to meet up again.

Jeff, thanks for riding back with me. It was a nice ride and good route choice. I have always liked 326 west of I-75, pretty country.

Jeff, really didn't get to visit with you much even though you were one of the first folks there. Sorry it took the wylie cyotee lady to help us figure out you were one of us.
Next time we get together walk up to me and say "hey, aren't you the guy that owes me a beer?" and that way I will know you are in our special little group. And who knows, as old and confused as I am, I may think you are right and actually by you that beer?
