Thumbs Up My vaquero

Hi Guys
I've had my Vaquero for 2 months now and thought I would share what Ive done so far.
Ipod connection
Power socket
Throttle mod
Driving Lights
removed front indicator bar replaced with small 21w indicators
38mm (1 1/2") taller screen
Tank pouch
Cobra FI2000 (4.5/4.5/0 settings)
Removed mesh from behind Air Cleaner
Removed rear baffles from mufflers
Removed rear foot pegs (put non slip tape on rear bars, dont have a passenger)
Blacked out crash bars and driving light bodies
removed rear light set up fitted small 21w indicators and LED bolts for number plate.
blacked out tail light surround
I'm very very happy with bike now, runs so much better
A set of Dons bars and black mirrors and I think I will be done
I used 21w indicators to avoid using ressistors and maintain flash rate and auto cancellation.

Nice work. That is one HUGE license plate! I have been thinking about blacking out my bars too, and plan on removing my passenger pegs (no riders here either).

You got a nice start
It looks like we went the same route with the turnsignals but mine face forward
either way they are much better than the stock lightbar
I hope to have a set of bars for you in a couple of weeks
Mant that is a billboard of a license plate

Cheers Guys
plate is big (standard here in Western Australia) nearly $500 for custom plate.
Laws in Western Australia are tough, and they love policing them especially bikes

Yes, the black FP exhaust with chrome tips will be the topping on the cake with that great looking bike.

Where did you get the front and rear turn signals? Been looking for something similar to that. The factory ones are butt ugly.

Looks great, I have been thinking about mounting some indicator lights like that on the fairing. Yeah too bad about your plate, though I think the ones I see occasionally from parts of Europe are even worse.
