What Kind of Radio is in Your Fairing

I am looking to install a satellite radio in my HD fairing. However, with all the options available, I am not sure about which one to install.

I am not sure if there is even an option that includes blue tooth.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

There are radios that have both Bluetooth and Satelite radio.

I am going to buy this unit for my bike, because I am not worried about playing cd's. I can use Satelite, Ipod, or just use a memory stick with music on it, the price is right also.

I have had two Pioneer units so far and Im not real happy with them, Im leaning towards a Sony Xplod unit now, with a front aux and USB port. If I install one I;ll also most likely run a small amp and perhaps four speakers rather than the two. I have found that at highway speeds its hard to get any clarity with the two speakers.

Look into a Marine Supply store.. They sell Radios and speakers for Boats that are WaterProof as well,, I would stay witha name brand and the Boat model as they have anti skip for the CD.... I am looking for a Radio w/CD,MP3 and Weather Channel.. so I have to look Marine supply. Bonus is my son works for a supplier :).. Pays to live near a fishing town :)

Steve I used to love Pioneer, but they went to crap about 8/10 years ago... I LIKE the USB port idea you mentioned,, That would speed up PC to radio transfer :), Didint know they had them... Please post what you find......

Most of the stereo units now are available with the Aux and USB ports in their units. In fact some of them are coming without the CD players, since you can connect an MP3 or memory stick which saves you carrying around your discs and trying to change them on the fly.
I installed a Sony unit in a car a few months ago and was quite impressed with its sound quality and performance. Thats why Im leaning towards installing one in the bike. Im sure there are a lot of good units available nowadays. The marine units are a good choice but most of them are only available in white from what Ive seen, at least the ones with the features Im looking for.

I have a Kenwood kpc 142 along with Rockford fosgate 6x9`s. im real happy with the kenwood, does a great job. got it new off ebay about 3 months ago for around 89.00 shipped.
