1600 Air Filter

Besides K&N and Kawasaki brands, what make after market air filters do you use?

I do use K&Ns with the filtercharger kits, lifetime filters, but I do use a Fram backup when on the road, cause it takes awhile to clean and dry the cotton filter.
Whichever your filter, there are cross reference charts where you can look things up. On my Chucksters open filter with the 2" high filter, I went with the 3 1/2" tall filter, which really woke up my poked and stroked 1600....I carry a Fram equiv. as a backup. I also carry a foam sock for really dusty conditions scrunched into a small glads sandwich bag.
Fram is a cheap, high quality filter....the 3 1/2 that I'm running goes on the big 26 Horse Zero Turn Mowers....

Hmmm. Twenty five responses on cup holders and one (a good one) on aftermarket air filters for a stock intake. Kinda says something doesn't it.

The one response you got wasn't for a stock intake. Probably not many choices if you are looking for something to put in the stock dog bowl, which may explain the lack of
responses.

I can recommend a good cup holder if you are interested.

Seriously, after 1 day you are complaining about no responses? People don't live on this site waiting to post about stock air cleaners.

I personally, have never had a stock air cleaner on any of the Vulcans I've owned.

They just weren't there when I bought them.

I've run K&N's, paper filters, foam filters, brand names, no names, etc.

In the end it really makes less difference which filter you run, the amount of restriction is more important.

Now let's get back to important things like cup holders and deer whistles.
