'03 Nomad rider in San Diego, CA

Hi all,
Just want to introduce myself on the forum. I just bought my '03 Nomad 1500 last week and love it. Went for a long ride on Sunday and MAN is it comfortable. It has about 28,000 miles on it. Any idea as to how many miles to expect out of the engine? I have always ridden a dual sport and am really liking the cruiser a lot more.

Also, can anybody point me toward a good source for windshield bags. I bought one on amazon but I would not fit without cutting it up.

Thanks and safe riding

Greetings from Colorado.
A buddy and I rode out to Pacific Beach in early May. Great ride.

I use this bag on my '00 Nomad:
https://www.ebay.com/i/351287104755?chn=ps&dispItem=1

It houses the amp for my stereo system, and the Ipod. Secured using the two middle windshield/trim bolts.

I have over 45K on my engine now, and it runs like a top - zero issues.

Welcome aboard from Georgia.................. With only 28,000 miles, it is barely broken in.
