Here's an unusual (and ironic) one...

Motorcycles collide in Glendale, sending 2 to hospital

By Domenico Nicosia The Arizona Republic- 12 News Breaking News Team Thu Sep 26, 2013 7:30 AM

Two people on motorcycles were taken to the hospital after they collided near 47th and Olive avenues in Glendale Thursday morning, officials said.
One motorcyclist was riding west on Olive Avenue and turned south on to 47th Avenue in front of the other motorcyclist, who was heading east on Olive, according to the Glendale Police Department.
One person was taken to the hospital in serious condition and the other suffered only minor injuries.
Investigators were not considering speed or impairment as factors in the collision.

There was a 6 bike pileup near Quebec city earlier this month, one dead, others injured. I as recall, the lead bike almost stopped on the highway in traffic and the others piled into one and other.... wasn't pretty

Not saying this happened in either cas but bike riders are the worst about down shifting hard and not flashing their brake light. This is one reason I don't do group rides. I was behind a "mature" guy on a nice Duce HD driving my work van yesterday in light but stop and go traffic. The guy almost never hit his brakes to warn he was slowing.
