65 hours wow I'm not sure I could do that in a car driving in shifts with 2 drivers let alone on a bike congratulations

Hi everybody! We didn't make the IronButt certificate, but we made it coast to coast. We have little jars of sand and seawater from each ocean with sea shells from each. Its's a hard ride and you can't have ANYTHING go wrong or you won't make it.

We are in the Smoky Mountains now. We're taking it easy going home. Probably stop around Little Rock, Ar. tomorrow.

Yes she did, and it did fine except for an electrical problem on day two of the coast to coast ride

We met the travelers in Van Buren for lunch Sunday around noon.
It was a cold day. Not pleasant riding weather.
They made it back to the house a few hours later.
Both had to be back at work in the morning.

Across the country twice in eight days. Wow.
I don't care if that gets you a certificate or not, that's amazing.
Way to go Gene and Kathryn. Glad you're home safe.

I've known Gene for a good part of 9 years now. There are very few motorcyclists that have the commitment, excitement and passion for riding like Gene. My hat is off to Gene and Kathryn. You've got my full admiration and respect.
