Vance & Hines Twin Slash Slip Ons for 489.95 on Amazon

Just thought I'd pass this along. It's the best price I've found on these pipes so far. I just ordered a set. Free shipping too.

Now they've dropped it to 461.09. Of course the day after I ordered mine.

I ordered them a couple of days ago from Amazon for $469 with free shipping. I live in California and got a message that they could not ship to a CA address because of CA emissions regulations (CARB). So I changed the shipping address to my Dad's place in UT and he will ship them to me. PITA!

Yes, my local Kawasaki dealer here in town told me this a while back. He said that it was part of the deal that CARB made with the distributors. CARB would close down all shipping into California and forego any annual inspections of bikes. I guess this is better than having inspections but I bet they will be coming sooner than later.

I will keep my stock pipes ready to put back on in case we start having inspections. Hopefully that won't happen. I'm looking forward to a different exhaust sound.

I'm really liking mine. Perfect volume for me, not too loud not too soft. It's easy to get out of my sleepy neighborhood without irritating the neighbors but have a good bark when you crack the throttle.

Revzilla has them on sale occasionally- mine were $440 thru them. Gotta shop around- even thru Amazon. Thanks for posting, terryd. They do sound great and seem to be gaining popularity.

Welcome to the forum from Northern California.

If you get your ECU re-flashed then you won't have to worry about the 02 sensor as Ivan disables it.

Thanks for the input. I did a lot of research on the forums and YouTube and it seems that most prefer the V&H over Cobras.

Got my Vance and Hines slip-ons today. Putting them on was a piece of cake. I really like the way they sound. If you romp on it they sound really nice.

The stock pipes sound really sucked. I know this is not a fast bike especially compared to my Suzuki M109R but it should at least sound fast! With the new pipes, throttle mod,and Ivan's ECU flash the bike definitely has more getup and go.

Next I will probable add a BAK. Is Roaring Toys the one to go with?

Congratulations on the new pipes! Oh yeah, that rumble!

Previously had the Chuckster's BAK myslef. It kept the stock look and delivered excellent air flow. I highly recommend it. Additionally, Joe (Chuckster's) frequents our forum. He is a great guy to work with and delivers a quality product.

Just my 2 cents.
Ride safe, Smokier
