Haugans BBQ Bike Night

For you guys in the GTA area here in Ontario, theres a great bike night at Haugans restaurant every Thurs through the summer.
Its in Manchester near Port Perry, and they will have upwards of a 1000 bikes show up on a good Thurs.
I'll be leaving here shortly and going there for the first time this season. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.

It was a very good evening, about 500 bikes showed up, everything under the sun was there, from old classics to sportbikes and cruisers. I seen about five other Nomads there as well. I only talked with one of them. Usually theres even a couple of Boss Hoss's there but not tonight. I go back in a couple weeks.

Wow, that's a great turn out for a weekly event. Wish there was something like that in the Vancouver area.

Haugens is a great location with lots of space around it for cruise nights, they have been there for for a long time. Actually 500 bikes is a smaller attendence from most days.
The car cruise in is also a good evening where youll see almost every muscle car ever made. At the season closing, there will be about 1200-1400 classic cars show up. Thats coming up in about 3-4 weeks.

You are very lucky Steve. I wish there were a place locally that bikers meet around here. If it is happening I just haven't seen it.

Gene, a lot of Sonic's have a bike night. Why not give them a call or even the suggestion.

Mmmmmmm, BBQ!

When I get a cut, I bleed BBQ sauce.

Speaking of bike nights, they tend to go on hiatus here during the summer, but they have a big one every Thursday (I think) at the Westgate Center in Glendale. The Westgate Center is a large entertainment complex where the University of Phoenix Stadium (AZ Cardinals) and the Jobing.com Arena (Phx Coyotes/NHL) are, along with a bunch of bars, restaurants, and hotels. There's even a Cabela's across the street. Anyway, I refuse to go there because I know people who were asked to leave the complex because they were dressed like bikers. Imagine that, bikers showing up at a bike night? Hello...I'd like to buy a clue, please!

I could probably go to a different bike night every day of the week around here if I chose to, some are very well attended and others are smaller groups. I will usually go to each one once or twice during the season.
