Finished re-paint on 2005 VN1600 for winter project

Hi all,

I have finished redoing my VN1600 from the previous stock blue/silver to a red with air brushed art. Wanted to personalize the bike. Added some chrome accessories and chromed the rad retainer border. I think it turned out great. Still lots of snow on the ground where I live but hope to have it out by the end of April. These are the mods...

1) Dupont paint- 2014 Cadillac Obsession red- #132W.
2) Air brush designs by Uncles D's Airbrushing- Warren, Mb, Canada
3) Chucksters Customs supplied- chrome light bar kit, chrome light visors, 2" risers, and windshield lowers.
4) Shiney Hiney supplied led rapid fire tail lights for the bags.
5) Installed Kuryakyn chrome beveled front and rear signal covers. Changed the rear yellows to red.

I kept the designs to subtle ghost flames on front fender, side of tank, and doors of side bags. I will be heading to the Black Hills in SD last week of June with it.

VB was a great source for the how-to's and I thank the members that have taken the time to describe their methods and for the reviews of suppliers.

That looks sweet. Would like to see for real. The paint looks like it has a good gloss to it.
