Need tips for riding into Canada

Just to change the subject of late, a bit, for all you who are thinking of doing the Alaska Hwy, be prepared for HIGH+++ gasoline prices. We went up last summer and found gas as high as $1.58 a liter!! YIKES!!! That was a Beaver Creek, Yukon. Needless to say we had gassed up the RV with the relatively cheaper ($1.28 a liter) gas at Haines Jct. Sheesh. Otherwise, we had no problems with the prices of anything in Canada. But then, we only went through BC and the Yukon. Have never been in eastern Canada. I'll keep all this stuff in mind, though.
