Not that I would ever spend money on one but I Watched a report last night from the current Harley Davidson president on the subject of the new HD sales plan. Internet Direct Sales from the corporate office. Thats right! You can start ordering through the HD corporate office the model with features and paint colors you want and the bike ships to your door. Bypassing the stealership and saving money on the purchase. He said sales had dropped lower as the baby boomers are getting older and not buying new dealer priced $35000 dollar bikes and the younger crowd is going to dual sports and electric. Loyal Brand dealers are gonna be used bike sales, Clothing sales, maintenance shops. Why stock something the corporate cuts your price on. They have the nicest buildings and biggest show floors. Guess they could put in a bar, dance floor, and a tattoo parlor in that space.

The guy (CEO) didn't say. It wont bother me though. I wont waste money on one.
