50th Annual Spring Flood Run

Saturday was the "50th Annual Spring Flood Run" along the Mississippi River from Afton, MN to Winona, MN. Riders are encouraged to ride both sides of the river to help alleviate congestion. The run raises money for Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul. It was estimated that over 50,000 motorcycles participated in at least part of the run. I left home at 8:30 a.m. and pulled into the garage at 8:00 p.m. Twin Cities Victory Riders always has a large turnout for this great cause and this year was no different, we had 24 bikes in our group. It was great seeing all of the bikes and all of the people watching was great, and I did manage to get in 320 miles.

That looks like one from the 30's. I think of Buck Rogers. Thanks for sharing. Nothing better than to share the day with a whole mess of other riders for a very good cause. Seems like it helps to set the pace for the whole riding season.

Cool!! Ray did say you were glad he wasn't coming to pick his bike up this past weekend since you would be gone to this. Glad you enjoyed it
