Is that all? Shit, I'd have to get out my insulated knickers if it was that cold.

I guess he assumed everywhere is as warm as Phoenix or something. I can just see him driving through ND or MN and freezing his arse off. The boy's got some learning to do, he just got his CDL and started driving OTR for Swift. BTW, Phoenix is a lousy place to buy cold weather gear. Most stores sell nothing but light jackets because that's all you need here.
I haven't worn my winter stuff since moving here. My oldest daughter just started at NAU and it's a lot cooler up there. She called the other day and said the high was in the low 60s.

Still have a heavy coat for going to places outside of PHX in the winter. Other than that I usually just wear a light jacket or hoodie around here.

Just got back from five night six day road trip to Medora No. Dak. Camped out every night. I may have been colder in my 74 years. But can't think of when. Just bought a Time Out camping trailer. Had to try it out. Another VBA. member who has camped for years went along. Anyway yes I got out for a nice 1300 mi. ride.

...Was close to 100 again here today..but forecast to be a high of 91 on Wed...and a high of 84 on Thursday, and is always about 10-15 degrees cooler on top of The High Sierra's...and that two lane up-grade, starts just 15 minutes from here....

Finally, my old sun stroked..frost bit..crippled up carcass is going to get to ride !

I only got 150 miles in, but at 34 degrees, wind chill kept temps at or below freezing through most of the route... Could have been worse, I suppose. Have to count small blessings - it wasn't snowing
