Less room in garage now

Well, we are now proud owners of a 2014 Yamaha Stryker! Love this bike! It will be a perfect combo with my Nomad. A freight train and a sports car combo . Since we have a few to many bikes (5 at the moment) I will be selling my LS650 and my Volusia. Already have someone interested in the Volusia.

Took the Stryker out yesterday for a ride. I love everything about it so far. Of course ordered a few things to make it even better. Soon I will make some custom leather work too! Oh, BTW, even though I have been riding and buying bikes since '86, this is my first new one. Feels kinda weird :-)

Congrats on the first "new" bike purchase Jen
Did you test ride a bunch of bikes in that category or just fall in love with the Stryker when you saw it.

Congratulations on the new bike Jen, nothing like a new toy. The Stryker and its big brother the Raider are two of my favorite bikes, factory hot rods! Enjoy the new bike. We missed you at our combined NC/SC rally, sure hope you can make the National Rally next June.

Parked next to one last week on a charity ride. Saw it, went to the dealer and bought it. (ok, researched the hell out of it first) but knew I would like it, fits perfect and rides even better! My girlfriend and I are sharing it, I get it as a commuter everyday (taking the looong route to work) and she gets it on rides for the weekend and long hauls. Works for me! Still like my Nomad for long rides but we can trade off at times too :-)

Definitely a hot rod :-) Wish I could have gone to the rally but I was down there two weeks earlier, couldn't swing both rallies. I am going down to Arkansas again in the Fall, can't wait to ride this bike on those roads!!!!

OK, just saw where the rally is and when for next year. I will run into the same problem but maybe I will just spend stay down there the whole time, I have friends I could stay with. Hmmm, riding the roads in Arkansas for a month, well ok, if I have too :-)
