New pipes, BAK and Ivanized. But I have a question

Finally got my Freedom Performance True Duals installed last night and then did the Roaring Toyz BAK along with putting my Ivanized EVU back into my new Vaquero this morning.

The sound of these pipes is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

I can feel and hear the difference in the throttle and the sound of the bike with everything switched from stock.

Next week the stereo, amp and new speakers will be installed and I've ordered a custom a left side plate from chucksters to cover the gap left from taking that massive badly engineered OEM air system out.

My only question is it seems like there's a lite pinging or clicking in the rear cylinder that I don't remember hearing before. I've only ever put 100% real 91 octane gas in her just to avoid this issue.

Anyone else experience this or is it the new programming settling in?

Thanks!!!!

Thanks! It's a work in progress. Will get a whole new paint job this winter.

Ivan told me that his tune is tuned for Premium Fuel. I told him I had always used MidGrade and he basically said, do what ever you want but it's tuned for Premium. I have since shifted to premium 93 whenever I can. Anything less it pings a little. Good Luck.
Note - my 2014 Voyager is all stock air / pipes and Ivan Reflash.

Looking good!
Not sure about any pinging, but I certainly hear valve noise with the aftermarket intake. Any chance that is what you are hearing?

Make sure both of your exhaust clamps are tight and that the gasket on the pipes isn’t bad. I had an annoying “clicking” that sounded like it was coming from the rear cylinder that went away when the bike warmed up. Found the cause when installing my hitch. The left side muffler clamp wasn’t tightened by the guy that did my tires. I tightened it up when I did the hitch and now it is gone.

I'll double check, thanks for the suggestion.

Did you use new exhaust port gaskets? If not then the ticking sound from the rear cylinder is prolly an exhaust leak.

Wizard, are you smelling gas on or off the throttle? I have the same bike and exhaust with Ivan flash and the bike smells like a lawnmower when riding

WizardOI,

I had tried the Chuckster BAK and removed it due to the extra noise coming from the engine area. With the factory air system removed, all the ticking, clacking, sucking sounds coming from the engine area could be heard, especially at speed. These noises troubled me, so the BAK went bye-bye.
Would it be worth the effort to put the factory air package back on as a test and "see" if the extra sounds disappeared?

+1 on that. It’s the reason I went back to stock air as well.
