Gay colors and Spiders

What's with the names in gay colors?

And I see that some have a ' + ' after their names...

I noticed on the I spy thread that we have Guest Spiders viewing our threads, What's a Spider?

If the name is red you are an Administrator.
If the names are orange they are moderators.
If the names are blue they are region leaders or assistant region leaders.
If there is a + after their name they are in your friend thingy in your profile.
As for the spyder, that's Greg riding through the forum.

Still wondering what are Google Spiders and Yahoo Spiders. Are they people or are they drones from Star Wars searching for desenters.

If you watch the "ads" on the site... you may start to see "ads" for things you you have googled or used Yahoo to search for.

In other words... these sites keep track of your "interests" when on Google or Yahoo and then puts related advertisement in front of you.

That is my guess...

Spiders are automated bots that browse the forum. They collect info for search engines. That's how you get results when you search for something on Google, Yahoo, etc.

Blue, red, and orange are 'gay' colors? I could see if I used pink or something like that!

I have partial color blindness. They appear to be gay colors against the back ground of the board colors.
