aftermarket windshield
I put a clearview windshield on mine. It has a little curve at the top of it to help with buffeting and it's about 2 inches wider than stock. They come in different heights. I'd suggest not having to look through a windshield when you consider height. My opinion is you should be able to see the ground about 30 ft or so in front of the bike as your driving so you can see holes etc on roads easier at night. IMPO

+2 on the Clearview. 1 for the shield itself, 2 for the top recurve: it allows you to get a shorter shield and still move the air up and around you at freeway speeds.

I put a Clearview on my O7, fit was perfect and if you watch their scratch and dented sales, you can save some $$$$. I saved about $80 on mine for a .5" scratch on the left side; no worse than a big bug hitting the shield at 80 MPH. Get the re-curve, it helps. Mine also came with the vent which is great for those really hot days you'd like to have some wind in your face.
I'm also 6'4 so I got the extra 2" in height and it pretty much stopped the head bobble from the wind. Yes, all this and also in the scratched bin. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I would think Memphis Shades makes one to fit the Nomad. I know they make a ton of them.
Believe it or not windshield makers say you are actually supposed to look over the windshield. When you install the windshield the top is supposed to be at nose level.
