Another old man on the board
Greetings gentlemen...and those who are not.
 By way of introduction, my name is Ken, I live in north Texas. I started riding motorcycles at the ripe age of 14 with a honda 65. It's 4 cubic inches would push it up to 45 mph, 50 downhill with the wind behind me. Had half a dozen other bikes until I turned 40 and quit riding. No reason, life just moved on. Then in 2006 my brother and I stopped at a honda dealership, just on a whim, and both rode home on new 750 aero's (still own it). Couple of months ago, I stopped to look at a valkyrie at the kawasaki dealership and while there, the wife says "Did you see this, it sure is pretty!" That is how I came to be the owner of a 2006 green/silver nomad with 30,000 miles on the ticker.  The bike was bone stock except for a mustang seat ...... not stock anymore. Thanks to this forum it now sports a chucksters dual plate intake, coasters, no crossover tube, no medusa head, TFI, larger lowers, homemade engine guard chaps, tachometer, accessory port, passenger armrests, luggage rack, phat II risers, and a very happy rider. Still on the list of things to do, chucksters spots and cam chain extenders, and maybe (???) new cobra true dual billet tip pipes. Not a big fan of loud pipes...just not my style. Ken, welcome. Nice ride. Too late to tell you to hide your wallet. The possibilities just seem to be endless with these Nomads. I have had two and never any issues. Just maintain and ride. I am a fellow Texan, You will find good oportunity for ralleys here. Again, Welcome.
