May 29, 2010 Natchez, MS Ride

On May 29 at 07:45, Darlene and I saddled up and rode to Baton Rouge to meet up with Dr. Frank (Painless) and his lovely wife Connie. We both arrived at the I-10 Exit 166 Chevron at about 09:00. We then headed North on I-110 and US 61 to Natchez, MS to meet Jim (Oldbikers), Jimmy, Jamie (Jamiep24), and Bobby (Zoom45) and his better half Vickie. We arrived at Lil Dago's Cafe, a fantastic little Italian restaurant just before 11:00 am. The Mississippi crew arrived a short time later. We had a great time of fellowship with fantastic food and a very pleasant atmosphere. It was a pleasure to meet Frank, Connie, Bobby, and Vickie for the first time. It's always good to see Jim, Jimmy, and Jamie again. The four of us departed on our way back South to Baton Rouge after lunch while Jim, Jimmy, and Jamie stayed in Natchez for the night. Bobby and Vickie headed home shortly after we did. All of us arrived back home without incident. I've attached the Photobucket link for you to view the pictures of our get together at Lil Dago's Cafe. I highly recommend this great little restaurant when you are in Natchez. Thank you Frank and Connie for bringing us all there for a great get together.

Very good pics, Mitch. It was a great time. Connie and I really enjoyed meeting new friends, and linking up with our fellow KawaNow members. Shoulda been there, Trip. That's ok, Jamie ate your share.

Mighty fine pics there, Jim. We'll have to hit that country store in Port Gibson next time. I know why there weren't many pictures taken in the store, cuz you didn't have me to keep Jamie from your food. . Seriously, the pleasure was all ours meeting you guys. We had a great time.

I've looked at these slideshows several times, and I just can't tell you how much fun Connie and I had that day. You can't beat a good trip, good food, and most of all..... good people. I recognize that country store. I think the Southern Cruisers chapter down here took a trip there not long ago. Where to next ?
