From Knoxville to MV??

For those of you coming in on I-40 from the West or I-75 from the South once you get to Knoxville, TN you have several ways to get to Maggie Valley, NC.

One way is to use The Cherohala Skyway.

I am planning on being in Lenoir City, TN on Monday June 13th at 0900 hrs. From there I will go to Tellico Plains, TN and hop on the Skyway and then on to Maggie Valley, NC. Total miles for the day will be around 150.

If anyone is interested let me know and we can meet at Cracker Barrel in Lenoir City

usranger there are several of us going to spend Sunday night in Lenoir City then we are going to Maryville then to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg to let the ladies do a little shopping and the on to MV you can check the S.C. region for details.

The last time Liz and I went down there we stayed at Cookeville but it is not that much farther to Lenoir City so we might see everyone there. Do you know what motel you are staying at?

I am from that area and will be staying with a friend. But, Jim and a few folks are coming up from MS and plan on spending the night there. I hope to meet them for breakfast. See Jim's post.

The last time I stayed was Feb last year I was there for my sisters funeral and there wasn't enough room at the condo for everyone so we stayed at the

The aarp rates were about $46.00 but they have a high tax rate about $8.00 the best I can remember.
