"txcwdancer"...One of our own is gone........

Never met Chuck. But, from the posts it seems he was a great guy. It's always sad to hear about someone passing on a motorcycle, even if your don't know that individual personally.

To all that knew Chuck, from members on this site, and relatives that may view this site, I'd like to send condolences for your loss.

Boy this hurts. I met him at the eastern rally and had a chance to talk with him for a good spell on the last night of the rally as everything was winding down. He was one helluva nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him.
He will be missed.

The death of anyone caused in an accident is tragic, but too lose one from the group who was so active is a truly overwhelming. I never had the pleasure of meeting Chuck, but I feel I got to know him through his writings. I haven't known anyone to go down on a bike in a long time, and I hope I never have to again. God bless his family in this time of sorry.

Take heed my friends and ease up a bit. Life is over all to quickly without pressing the issue.

Death stares us in the face every time we ride out into traffic. Don't give him any help if you can avoid it.

I just returned from the Oregon Rally as well, and find this very difficult. My condolences to the family, friends, and forum brothers and sisters. You are a great biker Chuck - RIP

RIP, txcwdancer.

Trip,
Maybe for awhile open a forum subject and lock it with just his name to represent our moment of silence and respect for Chuck.
just a thought.

Just got back from a trip to the news. What a terrible loss. I had the good fortune to talk with Chuck at the Eastern Rally. Being the same age we could relate in a lot of ways. I was impressed with the time he was able to devote to riding and his experience in distance riding, aside from the fact that he was a pretty neat guy. If there is any consolation in this tragic loss, it is the fact that he was doing what he loved. My prayers go out to his family and freinds, he will truely be missed. Bill "buckeye" Gaskell

I can still remember talking with Chuck a few weeks ago in Elkins,WV. To those that knew him, his gentle, laid back attitude, will always be a reminder of what a man should be. To those that never had the good fortune of meeting him you could never have met a more genuine sincere person. Its really to bad it had to end this way. RIP Chuck.

I'm very sorry and saddened to hear of this tragedy. I had not had the oppertunity to meet this man but from what I've read and seen.....Chuck was obviously and very well liked and respected man. Feel like I knew him.

For those of you who do know him........I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend.

Prayers are in session.
