Newb Rider - 2002 1500 Classic FI

Just bought my first bike. Been on a few rides. Ended up having some issues when I did some standard maintenance on it and found this forum. Thanks to everyone who has provided insight on here, as I think I may have solved a few of my problems based on some old threads here. Just thought I would create an account as I am probably going to be back here for more info later. =)

Active Duty Air Force, just moved to Texas... super hot riding down here right now, but I am enjoying it. Took the standard motorcycle safety course and maybe have about 20 hours of riding now. Should have started riding a long time ago, but for many reasons I kept putting it off. I bought a nice cheap bagger just to learn on it and make mistakes, then once I am a bit more comfy, plan on buying a newer/nicer version of some sort.

Anyways. Thanks for being here.

Welcome.....ride the Twisted Sisters in the southern Texas area. Nice country ride that you can do on a weekend if you're in the Killeen or San Antone area.

I heard a few friends talk about it. So I assume I will be doing it eventually. We did do a round through Bandera, which looks to be the start of the Twisted Sister. Thanks for the recommendation.
