ECU off to Ivan's

After reading all the reviews of Ivan's reflash, I've decided to send my unit off for his upgrade. I pull a lee-sure lite camper and I'm hoping for a little more power. I have a trip planned for the week of 5/9 to Virginia. Will post results after the trip.

I finally bit the bullet myself and sent my ECU off to Ivan's last Thursday. Supposed to be getting it back tomorrow. Early last week looking at the weather and seeing that this past weekend, and many more days, were going to be a wash-out helped me finally make the decision. Looking forward to a good stretch of beautiful riding days starting thursday!

I will be camping at: www.willvillebikecamp.com just off the BRP at MM 179. It is near Meadows Dan. Going to do some sight seeing with another couple.

I'm planning on making the Skyline Drive ride sometime this early summer. Enjoy your trip!

Hey, just south of you a few miles down in Farmville. Skyline is a nice ride. I rode it top to bottom a couple years ago from Front Royal to Waynesboro. I try to get to the Parkway at least once or twice each summer.

Bud2Rat - did you get your ECU back yet? Mine came in today. Man! What a difference! I so enjoyed not hearing any decel pops and, it may be just my imagination, but the bike just purrs now.

Just got off the phone with Ivan's and my ECU is on it's way home, scheduled delivery Saturday. Just in time, suppose to be beautiful weather this weekend. I'm looking forward to trying her out.

Do you need to contact Ivan before you send off your ECU? Better yet, can someone point me in the right direction to a set of rules to follow (if they even exist) for sending off an ECU?

You need to fill out this form and send it with your ECU

MVA-Voyager, I'm impressed. It does everything that Ivan said it would do. I just have to remember that the rev-limiter has been removed. I took a 200+ mile ride on Saturday and really enjoyed the difference.....no more throttle lag and decel popping. Plus, now I can pass a car without having to downshift. Money well spent.
