WOW! 3 in one week
Last Sunday at the gas station a fella asked me about my Nomad, he has one just like it and lives about 7 miles from me. Today I see 2, with a dressed HD, parked at a little shopping center in Denham Springs, La. So I go looking for the riders. Found them and it turns out they live about 15 miles from me. All three looked like
just regular country folk, even the HD rider looked like a pretty good ol' boy. Who would have figured so many great bikes so far out in the country? None of the 3 had heard about this great site, but you can bet they have now. We may get a few more members. Look out the southern coast may be growing. And I must admitt, it was neat getting to tell someone about all the stuff and really good folks they will find here. I was proud to beable to tell them about a solid, positive, and helpful group that I belong to. I don't think there are a lot of groups as good as this one any more. Thanks for your time And Trip, thanks for putting it together.

Something I have a hard time understanding is why so many Nomad owners have never heard of Kawanow. Do they live in a vacuum? Does it not occur to people to research things on the internet? When I first considered a Nomad, I googled it and found this site and joined before I ever walked into a dealership to look at a Nomad.
I read up on what members here had to say about their bikes before I went any further. I made my purchase decision based in large part on information I found here. Other than the guy Utah bought his Nomad from (inside joke) everyone I've met with a Nomad also owns a computer.

Well all I can say is , I found this sit by just looking around on the internet and the more I read the better I like it ,I've learned alot since I joined and I 'am still learning every time I get on here and read the threads. I tell everyone I run across on a nomad about this sit. I belong to the VROC and the PGR and I spend more time on this sit due to all the information I get from all you guys

What amazes me is how many Kawanow business cards I have given out....and how relatively few people have come to join us here as a result. I got lucky a couple weeks ago and met two great guys who dove right in, but that is not usually the case. I too think this is a great site with lot to learn and a great group of folks...but everyone has a different agenda and outlook on life. To each his own ya know...? You can lead a horse to water.... ::)...

That is a good idea Zoom, any one in riding distance. Maybe we could even tell Cajunrider when it is. I don't know if he would show up or not, he may not eat real So. La. Seafood, he maybe a Capt. Ds only fella. LMAO, WMB, ROTF, and giggle. I have a phone number for one of the fellas I met today, I could get hold of them and maybe Painless in BR. Where would I post it so folks would know and send posible dates?
Thanks for your time.

Sonny, I'm working this weekend days and next weekend nights. I'm off the following two weekends. Y'all set a date and I'll try some of that Louisiana seafood. I heard it's pretty good.

Here locally there are two or three Nomads that I know of. I meet one on the highway ever now and then.
Speaking of locating the KawaNOW site, I bought the Nomad and then started looking around for anything to do with Nomad's. Found this site and joined as soon as I found it. Great site and very informative with lots of great guys and gals here. Really glad I found it and joined.
