How about the rake on the triple tree? I've always heard a hack needs a shorter rake to handle correctly. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I know a trike will steer easier with a 6 degree rake, but I haven't heard anything about needing it for a sidecar. Besides, I'll have an option of detaching the sidecar (I'm told it takes about 15 minutes on this Formula II.) and riding two wheels again as I want. I don't want to change anything on my bike. Thanks for your comment, though. BnG

Dave mine was a 2 passenger that sit side by side and the brakes were tied into the goldwing brakes. it also had the electronic leveling device and a radio and the intercom system on the bike was hooked to the sidecar so mommy could tell me when to stop.

Jim: Yeah, it looks like is was a real head turner. I'll bet it was fun to drive around. I was thinking about a radio too, but don't know for sure if I'd want one. Just thinkin' I guess.

Gibby: Trekkin' to Colorado will be fun! If we're lucky, it won't be too hot in June. Pretty darn cold here in northern Iowa today. About 10 degrees wind chill.

It shows 13˚ in Waukee today. It's 55˚ where I am now. I think I will go riding today.
