The 2009 National Rally

Thanks for the report. There could be a couple other South Central folks traveling with us or it could be just my wife & daughter following along in the truck. Either way this will likely be our route.

Here are my plans for the National Rally:

(Will be trailering my bike.)[/list:u:[/*:m:70oqqx8o]<UID>][list:70oqqx8o][*]Traveling the entire route along Interstate 90; starting from the Rockford, IL area.[/list:u:[/*:m:70oqqx8o]<UID>][list:70oqqx8o][*]Plan on making it all the way through without an overnight stop if at all possible.[/list:u:[/*:m:70oqqx8o]<UID>][list:70oqqx8o][*]A long trip for wife and I (867 miles -- 13 hours of driving at best)[/list:u:[/*:m:70oqqx8o]<UID>][list:70oqqx8o][*]We are booked in the Bavarian Inn from the 13th thru the 20th -- returning to Illinois on Sat June 20th.[/list:u:[/*:m:70oqqx8o]<UID>]

Plan on getting in a bit of "extra" riding on Sunday & Monday prior to everyone arriving. We also plan on riding Friday to cover any particular favorite areas again.

Anyone wanting or able to connect for the trip out let me know via PM. Hope to see as many of you as possible in Custer.

Right now my plans are to:

• Leave sometime Sunday the 14th and ride to Valentine going the 169 to rt 20 route, hopefully staying at the Comfort Inn. [/*:m:j9300h8s]
• Ride from Valentine to Custer on Monday the 15th, staying at The Rocket Motel, mileage should be in the 650 mile range.[/*:m:j9300h8s]
• Ride home on the 19th, either the long way through Colorado or back the way I came. [/*:m:j9300h8s]
