The best place for an inspection sticker?

I live in one of those crazy states that force a motorist to obtain an inspection sticker for automobiles or motorcycles. For those who live in a similar state, where's the best place to "hide" your inspectioin sticker? Cause I'm sure not gonna put it on my windshield. Thinking maybe just sticking it inside one of my bags. And has anyone ever been asked if they had one by the law?
For those that don't know, an inspection sticker is just another way for the state to make some money. We have to get one annually. It just means your lights, blinkers, taillights, etc. is working properly. $5 in Mississippi. Thanks.

I keep mine in my wallet. That's how me and the wife had it when we tested for our license and they didn't say anything about it. Never have been stopped on the road and asked for it. I live in Terry, MS.

Consider yourself a little better off than your neighbors. 14.00 in Texas. And the law says it has to be visable from the back. Makes it hard to hide.

The kicker is, all you have to do aparently is drive it into the bay and you get a sticker. I just did mine about 2 months ago and the guy didn't even look at it or turn the key on. I just stood there and waited to see how they were going to handle it.

I have the sticker on the back or the driveshaft cover on the Honda. Not visable from the rear, but never has been an issue.

We don't have those stickers in California (yet), but if you can hide it legally, I'd stick it to the inside of the hard bag I didn't carry contraband in

Texas. Kury makes a nice chrome plate that attaches to your license plate frame. Being displayed
doesn't give the law probable cause to stop you for no reason.

jamiep24 I have been asked for my inspection sticker one time in the last ten years and in Mississippi it is legal to carrier it in your wallet or your saddle bag it doesn't have to be stuck on anywhere, I keep mine with my proof of insurance in the left saddle bag when I remember to get one but some hard a$$ might right you a ticket if you don't have.
But check with your local state troopers as the law may change in different parts of the state (you know them good ole boys)

but you're going to cover most of that $40 of chrome with sticker...fabricate something similar go to Lowes and try to improvise

I kep my legal documents in one bag and my not so legal stuff in the other bag. Easier that way

My inspection sticker is on the front fork. You can only seen it when looking for it from the riding position. It also helps that NC uses chrome colored stickers.

In Missouri the law states it must be visible. The inspector put mine on the back side of the right front fork. Easy to see with the bike on the kickstand the handle bars turned to the left.
