Here is Bud 4 U - Problem Fixed

http://s1001.photobucket.com/albums/...view=slideshow

The photos in this link are of a day 2 ride that Idaho Jack and I made to Clingmans Dome in the Great Smoky Mts. NP. Before starting the ride Oldbiker told Bud that you can “see forever” at the Dome. It is the highest point in TN and in the Park.

As can be seen by the photos the day was clear and crisp. However, when we got to the Dome we were in cloud bank (you don’t have fog at 6200 feet), the wind was blowing at 40+ MPH and it was cold!!! Instead of seeing “forever” you could see for 50 feet!!!

Over All Trip
+ 3092 miles round trip
+ No real problems
+ CO. Cool Vest really works and works well.
+ Frog Togs also work well
+ Both bulbs in my Cobra Light Bar burned out
+ On a day without storms, there is not a bad road to ride in E. TN or W. NC.

I am going to edit my photos and put captions on them - Will post when they are ready.

A special thanks to Amy and Todd for all the hard work they put into the Rally. It was an outstanding event. Thank You.

You might try adding some photos to the album, Bill. I don't see a thing.

Ranger,

Did you ever work that area when you were with the Park Service? It sure is beautiful. I was on those same roads about 10 years ago, amazed every time I see them.

I am from E. TN (Maryville) and spent my childhood in the Park and near by mts. But, never got to work there.

Bill,
Great pictures as usual. Good seeing you and Bud. Glad you guys got to ride up to Clingman's Dome. Been a long time since I was up there. Just got back from the Smokies a couple of weeks ago but didn't drive in the park at all.

I agree, there isn't a bad road in those states, they were meant for riding.
