Nomad Saddlebags on Vulcan 900

Can anyone tell me if the nomad hard saddlebags can be installed on a Vulcan 900.

Nomad Saddlebags on Vulcan 900

They probably could be installed, but it would be a lot of work,you would have to change the exaust system, to have a pipe on each side of the bike, instead of both pipes on the same side. This would keep the bags nice and low on the bike.If you put the bags on with the stock exhaust it would probably take more fabricating of the brackets that support the bags. Also they would sit much higher on the bike. I would just get some leather saddlebags for now and get a Nomad when your ready.

Nomad Saddlebags on Vulcan 900

The bike I had in mind was an 800 Vulcan but my buddy feels you can do the same on a 900. He built the brackets out of 1/4 inch square tubing.
