. . . and still waiting to get my '00 Nomad
Well, the planets have not quite lined up in the proper order, but very soon. Hopefully next Friday. Rain forecast for the next five days. I have to get my Valkyrie out of storage, remove the Mustang passenger seat and backrest and replace them with the OEM, bungie the OEM driver's seat on the back and bring my tools to remove my Kuryakyn highway pegs. Ride that bike about 65 miles to the dealership in Manchester, NH, remove the Mustang driver's seat and put the OEM on the bike and remove the highway pegs. Trade in the Valkyrie and take possession of my new (to me) 2000 Nomad and bungie the Mustang seat in the back and ride home with a sh*t eating grin on my face. I will be selling the Valkyrie Mustang seats and backrests as I won't get any dollar value in the trade-in for them. If you have gotten tired of reading of my long wait you can imagine how frustrating it has been for me.

Good luck man, hope the weather is great when you pick it up. The Nomad is worth the wait.

It's tough, but some things are worth waiting for.
This will be one of them. I had to sell a house before I bought mine, not only did it take 6 freakin' months, but I ended up repainting inside and out and refinishing all the floors. In the end it was worth it though. I made $60,000 profit on the house. With $60,000 in my pocket I could have bought almost any bike made. I bought a Nomad & have never regretted it. But the waiting was freakin' murder! |

Can't wait to hear your post of the ride home! But then, you'll be in the garage with your toy and not able to post?
Good luck and sleep a lot. It make time go fast! |
