Irate Clutch spring/brake switch

Replacing my clutch spring, gadgets instructions say to remove the brake switch from the housing by turning the housing and not the switch due possibility of breaking a wire... Question is how is that done? Pics/help much appreciated as I am going on a trip on Thrs.

My bike had a plastic sleeve that held the switch and it has ears that are compressed to get it to release from the bracket it is in. If you cant get it to release it should unthread from the switch. Hold the switch still and unscrew the sleeve from the switch.

Hope this helps

Look at the page posted in the previous post and look at the 3rd picture yellow circle around the spring and back of the switch. That nut has a couple of locking tabs that can be compressed and it then just pulls from the bracket. No twisting and turning and better yet when you snap it back into place on reassembly and reconnect the spring your switch should still be properly adjusted. That is the same setup mine has.
