UPDATE
Do NOT use Loctite near any ABS component. Guys i figured out what hapenned. After checking carefully the trunk i discovered another spider of crack around one of the hinge. The damage was cause by Loctite on the bolt that are going through the ABS trunk. I was tired of putting back the screw every few weeks had put Loctite on the bolt. Everywhere It has been in contact with the ABS i can see cracks appearing. That was 3 months ago so it takes time for the damage to show up. If you have ever had the bad idea of putting loctite near ABS component, i suggest you remove and clean the parts ASAP. I will post the pictures soon Login or Register to Remove Ads |

As you can see from the pictures above, the damage is much less than around the antenna hole. Incatched it earlier but it will still require extensive repair.

Good to know, thanks for the update. I also just googled it and it will indeed eat ABS and is not recommended for use around or with it.
