That DOES seem like a great deal. The Premeux fairing is a couple grand all by itself. I want a Harley and I think the new style top loader bags are ugly but I'd think about checking into that.

I can visualize you riding that Nomad, Ring. I even checked the map for you, only 1100-mile one way trip.

I probably should be looking at it, I'll be rolling over 80k on my bike later this afternoon.

I follow your posts, Ring; you are taking longer rides and I'm just curious, how is your Nomad after your restored it?

As for me, I anticipate reaching 60K km on the ODO at the end of 2012 and there's a black Electra Glide Classic in my heart, okay I just said it!

Wow! This is quite a good deal. I still like the 1600s better, but this bike is going to serve someone very well.

It rides as good as it ever did, I have it set up as a solo bike at the moment because the beerbox and fairing etc are at the painters for another couple days. I should have it back as a tour bike in another few days.
It wouldn't bother me to ride the bike across the country right now, I have complete confidence in it. I'm sure I could run it another few seasons without any problems.
And when it time to replace, it will be either another Nomad or if I can swing it I'd really like to get an Ultra, they are the ultimate in long distance comfort.
I said it too...
