What is it? and what is it made from?????

Ok, so several hours, three scorched fingers, one pissed off wife and no fingernails later, I finally got those #$%^&@#$ do not sit here stickers off. The wife didn't appreciate me using her hair dryer.
What are they put on with. ??? It has to be from another planet. AND why didn't they used the glue on the trim strips on the saddle bags? Since they are already starting to come off.

If Kaw would bottle it they could make a fortune on it.

Gorrila glue has noting on this stuff.

How long were they on before you removed them? I pulled mine off shortly after I got my bike and only needed friction (fingertips) to remove the glue. Sounds like yours got baked on by the sun...nevermind, I see you are from Florida. Bet they put the bikes outside on display.

Just make sure you get the sticker off the speedometer glass.

What is it? and what is it made from?????

After reading in a thread somewhere in the dusty archives ( back when KawaNOW was new and before the dust built up on the thread) someone suggested a WD-40 pen for loosening the adhesive. I applied the magic juice and let it sit for a while, then the demon decals were fairly easy to peel off. A second treatment removed the small amount of residual sticky stuff, and a coat of wax made the ugly warnings only a memory.

I've heard others report good results with Goo Gone or similar products.

The WD-40 made it almost "try before you pry" easy. Glad you didn't resort to "the irons" in maltese gorilla fashion

I bought my 05 omad used and it still had the yellow stickers on the tops of the bags and I still have not got them off. I've tried heat guns, wd-40, goof off, goop, and a paint scraper. Maybe I'll just color over them with a black sharpie.

When mine was fairly new, I blasted them off in 2 seconds with a car wash nozzle blast.

Mine also peeled right off, but I second the suggestion of Goo Gone for recalcitrant stickers. I've used it several times on other stickers.

I left mine on for about a year and they never would come off after a few waxing/high heat in TX. I bought some chaps and covered the damn things up.

Well mine peeled right off. The key is not to buy one that's being setting in the showroom window all year with the sun baking on it. The local kawa shop here has a small showroom so they would keep just one bike of each model up on the floor. The rest were still the the crates. UV+time+vinyl stickers=PITA to remove
