There are many better speakers out there. Get some Rockford Fosgates or Polks. You get what you pay for when it comes to speakers.

I Believe the MetrixAudio makes to Hoggtune speakers for Harley. I bought a pair and they sounded horrible. My stock Vaquero speakers sounded better. I have since went with an Alpine amp an Polk Audio speakers and the sound is great.

Kicker and Rockford Fosgate

I purchased separate components and installed them myself. Let me know how I did. Everything installed is listed in my signature block.

Curious if you ran them without an amp or if you used an aftermarket amp with them?

It would be cool to know more about your install and how you chose those components.

Sounds great Papa Smurf!

Jesse D - I don't think you can get too much water on the aftermarket stuff unless they are marine quality. If you are out riding and you get caught in a quick shower, there shouldn't be an issue (the components are behind the fairing and somewhat protected), but I wouldn't leave it out sitting in the rain. You'd have to be careful when washing the bike too.

You're powering your 2 speakers with the Rockford Fosgate Punch PBR300X2 Amplifier. What are you powering with the Rockford Fosgate Punch PBR300X1 Amplifier?
