Sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures; I'm sure those hold some special memories for you.

I love the picture taken at the border crossing at Piegan, MT. I've made my entry with the bike into the U.S. many times there but it has certainly changed over the years.

Sorry to hear about your father... my sincere condolences.

The pictures of him are a priceless documentation of an era long-gone, when bikers were definitely a breed of their own, far removed from the ordinary masses.

actually he told me once that bikes were very popular in the late 40's up to the mid to late 50's, then the roads got better and cars were cheap, gas was cheap and every body had a family. bikes just kind of fell out of favor with the general public.
