PM Question

I know this is in the wrong place but I don't care.
I figure more people will see it here.
Move it if you feel the need.;)

How do we tell if a member we PM has read the PM?
On the other low tech, non state of the art, easy to navigate forum it showed an open envelope or somethin' like that.
On here I see no way to tell.

You don't care that it is in the wrong place or that I want to know.

Don't know the answer... but if you have messages you haven't yet deleted, try to go to the control-panel on the far-left side and scroll-down to "track-messages". Click that and see if an option comes-up that allows you to know if it has been opened or not. I don't keep messages so I cannot try it.

Just an idea...

You can also block messages from certain "unsavory-members" here... in case you might have someone in mind TC... (if you know what I mean!! Not naming any names...)

Before you hit submit message, check the box that says Request a read receipt for this message.
It's located just below the submit button in the additional options.

^ ^ See what happens when you don't care what the rules are? A fellah with an extensive very lethal tomahawk collection hijacked your thread! :)

You're about a butt head sometimes!

That's about 1/10th of my hawks, and some like that one 2nd from the right are not really hawks. That one is more celtic, and a little bit battle axe... But each has it uses on way or another.

#4 is a Ft Miegs belt axe, aqnd is used to chop and split small wood.
#5 from the right is a hawk I use for throwing. It has a round eye, making getting a new handel easy. In the throwing game bustin' another guys handle is fair game.

#6 is axe with a hammer poll, for cutting wood and driving trenulls (tree nails) for use in log const.

Me I am the camp nuscience around here, and in camps. Most of these guys know that. Anyone who doesn't is going to find out

I have tried that and everything else I can.
Nothing I have done shows if the message I sent has been read as far as I can tell.
If I get a read receipt , where would it be?

For Christ sake TC! Find a 10 to 15 year old kid, that you haven't pissed off yet, and they'll put their finger on everything and show you all you need to know.

Perhaps one of your great grand young 'uns that you ain't scared the hell out of!

Yet!
