Pictures of Redwood Rally

Here is the spot to post some pictures for the Rally. Unlike those that went to the National.

We shall start early and often.

The start of the road to Denio Junction north of Winnemucca. Talk about straight. At least we had a darn good burger in Denio Junction.

The salt flats west of Salt Lake City.

Was there gas at Denio Junction? What route did you take from there? How many miles after that until you saw gas again?

I found that by clicking on your photo it took me to an album with 18 pics

One of those pics shows a Nomad that is using the "hand" screens made my Chuckster. Could you ask the owner how they work and if they are good to go in hot weather.

Yes, but expensive. Good burgers there as well. We could have made it to Adel if there wasn't gas. The farthest we went on a tank was 120 miles.

I didn't have to go far to get home so I'll post a few pictures, I'm sure lots of others have way more pictures then I do. Too busy riding and enjoying the scenery to take much pictures.
It was a awesome rally and well organized, all 3 days was very scenic and fun!

picture at the information center just starting into the Avenue Of The Giants. The trip down the coast and the remote road through the monster Redwoods is as good as it gets.

The trip up the coast was really senic, about 60 miles right on the coast line and the seven devils road was just made for motorcyles. For those on the east coast... there is a west coast!

Elk was a common site on the coast below Crescent City. Like someone said, you can get face to face with these big majestic animals.

Picture of a stop on the last days ride inland. This was one of the best rides, lots of scenic and very remote roads that looks like they was just made for motorcyles. I think some of the passengers on the bikes took pictures as they went, I hope they can post some that does this route justice.

Not many pictures but I'm sure it was a awesome rally that everyone will remember!
