Just to check in here.........Kris, Don, Mark, and their wives along with Steve and I are sitting pretty in Lincoln City for the night. I do believe Steve and I are going to ride up to Astoria with the others and then cut over to the I-5 to make better time and get home that much sooner.

Had a great time at the rally seeing some old and new friends. Not to mention the great rides.

Sorry to here of the two mishaps on the way and one at the rally that happened. I wish you speedy recoveries.

Landman, Krystal and I made it to Evanston, WY. 570+ miles today in the heat and wind.

Nevada was a trip. Very hot. Then there was the salt flats. I swear my bike was at a 45˚ tilt from the wind. It was all I could do to stay in my lane. Glad you made it to Evanston. Should be a short trip for you today.

Ride safe Jim.... BTW I heard Valencia where I rode through was 110 when we we went through. Boy did that every kick my ass!

Brad, many years ago I picked up a load of oranges in Valencia. Best orange I ever ate came right off the tree there. Found out later it was against the law or something to pick it. I ate the evidence though.
