This may be a dumb question but I am good at asking dumb questions.
when you guys use CB's do you have to use headsets plugged into them. You know, wires running from the CB to your helmet.
Also if you have a hand held unit mounted to your handlebars, do you have to reach up and push a button to talk or can it be set for voice activated?

Just read up on the J&M JMCB2003, very nice. I wonder if you could hook up a GPS to it, so you could hear the spoken directions? I see you can play music through it, so would think you could with the GPS.

Anyone do that, that has the J&M JMCB2003? Any negatives about the device?

That's a big 10-4 buddy. All my helmets have J&M headsets in them. I'm a big fan of J&M products and their service. I always listen to the radio around town. On the open road I toss in a CD. On my Harley there's a push to talk button on the left side grip. For intercom, it's VOX.

I really like bike to bike communications!

My bike came with full factory comm and sound system. It came with one headset, which I mounted on my modular helmet. I have not used it yet, the Redwoods rally will be the first real test.

I can flash my headlight in morse code, although it would be unintelligible. Does that count?
