Cup holders

I know that some of you have installed the handlebar mounted cup holders, now the problem I find with most of them is they want to rotate and move every which way when riding. There has gotta be a way to adjust them so they are stationary? Any ideas?

I've had this one http://tinyurl.com/y9teu2sf for 4-5 years now, on my wing, than Nomad and now my Voyager. Only thing I had to do was make the mount out of aluminum as the original dried out and cracked........Mike

Yes, there is. Go to Walmart, Target, etc and spend less than $10 on a black or stainless cup holder for a bicycle. Actually, when I bought mine they were $5.99 I think. They mount firmly and solid. No movement. The bad thing about that is if you drop your bike, your coffee/soda/water will spill and splash on the the paint.

I put the Huffy bicycle cup holder on mine, had to make a clamp to fit the bars, but it looks nice, black vinyl, looks like leather, just trim the huffy tag off, and no=one will know the difference, walmart, less than 10 bucks

That's the one I used. I machined out the 7/8" clamp to 1" and its rock solid.

I went with this Kuryakyn. It'll hold damn near any size cup with or without a handle.

If you already have your cupholder, and you don't want it to swivel, put it where you want it, add some red locktite, it'll be stationary. Its best to take the mount loose, add 1 drop to the threads and nut, with a drop on the pivot stem....she won't ever come off.
Rear-view mirror epoxy is a good cheap alternative, just be sure its where you want it before you use it....same as superglue

No cup holder on Lucille.
I found that a 32 oz. Styrofoam drink cup (size available at most burger joints) fits nicely between the handlebar risers and the windshield. A 1 Ltr. bottle stays put nicely as well.
Just got back from a 4000 mile bike trip and both stayed put.

Thx 4 the huffy info, wally world had them for $7 figured worth a try. Removed the bicycle clamp used some pipe hanger. Wrapped that in black electrical tape. Mounted up seems 2 be sturdy. Not a new sticky here but cheap.

I had the Kruzer Kaddy for years.

After a bad experience, read spilled soda everywhere, all I used it for was sunglasses and other small items.

After parts of it started rusting I removed it.

I don't miss it.

Ive had the Kruzer Kaddy mounted on the sissy bar for the misses for years. Found a black plastic one from Kuryakyn that I can just remove the cup holder part when not using after spilling untold amount from placing drinks with lids on the triple tree/risers. I finally got smart and placed it behind the windshield of my fairing to keep bugs off of the straw or lip of the cup...

I had a hard time keeping mine from rotating every which way. I cut a piece of an old garden hose, about an inch, sliced it so I could get it on the handlebar and put the bracket over it. Seems okay.
