I do like that the Yamaha rack has those support bars to spread out the stresses.

I've carried over 30 pounds on the cobra rack with no issues, just need to be careful opening and closing the trunk.

Thanks 2paps i also found pics on google images but they all seem to be older voyages, does anyone have a Yamaha rack on a newer model? Wondering if the trunk shape changed through the years.

You are correct Sven - the 1700 Vulcan Voyager trunk has not changed.

This is the one I put on my voyager. https://rivcoproducts.com/shop-by-mo...gage-rack.html Hauled the wife's makeup and accessory bag over 3000miles last trip 20-25 lbs min and held up nice comes with rubber mounting kit. I did add fender washers on the inside to minimize bolt stress
