126 days

Yup, 126 days to go, the countdown has started. The friend girl and I are doing a cross Canada tour this year on our 2016 Road glides. We are starting out from Ft. Mcmurray and heading east to Newfoundland, then of course headed back home with lots of zigging and zagging inbetween. We will then refresh at home for a day or two, and head out on her 06 heritage classic and my 07 Nomad and do Alberta and B.C.. We are busy doing a few mods to the road glides right now but the heritage and Nomad are set to go.

Sounds like one heck of a summer.
The trip across Canada should be fantastic.

John, by my calculations, you should be hitting the road around June 10th.

That should be a fantastic trip and a great adventure! How long do you plan overall for the entire trip? I would think 3 weeks minimum if you do plan on getting off the major routes and seeing some "Smalltown Canada" and the sights.

Yup, june 11 to july 10th and that's our goal to see small town Canada. Neither of us care to hit the big citys at all, although I'm thinking about being at the parliament buildings in Ottawa for july 1st celebrations, just cuz. After we get back home we plan on doing a couple or three, four day runs on our days off. We did several of these trips last yr and averaged about 3000kms each and that's still a relaxing ride....should be a great summer of riding.

When you get to Nova Scotia and you have time look me up and I will show you some great rides other than the Cabot Trail, which by the way is fantastic.

John,
Any updates on your trips? I assume that you have completed your Trans-Canada ride and now doing the "local" Alberta & BC tour.

We need pictures!!!
