De-baffled the Nad.Tougher than expected.

Decided to debaffle the Nomad last night.Drilling through the welds was the easy part, those baffles were stuck in there good.Got them out though after pounding the hammer and some beer all night. These things were nasty!I wont win any awards for my mechanical or painting skills but am happier with the sound my exhaust makes. And it was a hell of a lot cheaper than new pipes.

No wonder it took some work to get them out because they were gunked up.Yeah i know i need a rear tire that's next on the list.No lift though so probably will have to pay a shop to do it.

Maybe now you can afford a new rear tire. Yours is done for.

I can't believe you're riding on that tire. It's dangerous man.

Yep, I said that too when I was 19 working seasonal trying to put my money in the bank to cover my loan payments over the winter for my kz 650. well one bald tire and one rain storm later got me down on my side getting hit by a car and dragged for about twenty feet while I was looking at the front tire of the car. Injury's consisted of torn ligament in my ride shoulder, badly sprained left shoulder, every muscle from my neck to my waist front and back pulled and almost all my ribs bruised, it wasn't worth trying to cheap out on a new tire. sex the next day sure did hurt though ha ha

Looks like it should have been done miles ago. Shop charges are still cheaper than a skin graft in a hospital.
