Bought a used 6,000 mile 2006 Nomad last May will get to do more riding this year since I have retired from the CSX railroad where I worked as a Locomotive Engr for about 35 years Hope to go to Maggie Valley this summer it is not a bad ride from my home I live at the tail of the Dragon can be on HWY 129 in less than 3 mile.

Welcome Tom from the Deep South. Had a friend who retired from Southern Pacific after 40 yrs as an engineer. He was still like a kid with a new electric train after operating them for so long. He took many pictures of the long string of cars following behind him in those sweeping curves. Great shots. I'll see you in Maggie Valley.

Welcome from Alabama. My uncle retired from L & N Railroad several years back. Not sure if it was L & N when he retired, may have been bought out by another railroad. I just know he worked for them for many years. When he went to retire he had the years to retire but he wasn't old enough. Had to work a few years more.
